We will try to have two presentations durng that online session. One will be from Alex Tscheulin about learning spaces and changing requirements for learning environments. Alex Tscheulin is working for the ePUSH Project. His expertise is in eInfrastructure.
The second presentation will be held from Anja. You’ll probably know her from the Seminar. She has prepared some nice things, but I don’t want to say to much.
Please make sure you’re on Skype at least at 10.15.
We will meet in an Online Seminar Room and Skype is just a fallback solution if something went wrong. Just in case; my skypename is adesigna and the phonenumber in my office is 040-42838-7060.
We’re going to use adobe connect for our online session and if there is enough time we’ll also trying dimdim.
See you tomorrow - online!
Here you’ll find a sample screen within the adobe connect environment. Just to give you a bit more orientation.
Those yof you who plan to use the computers within the Uni please make sure you’ll arrive a little bit earlier.

Today we had two more presentations again, three to be more concrete. Theresa and Anna informed us about about CBT’s and Tutoring.
I really liked the evaluation aspects of a CBT Anna stated. You will find them in slide 15 and following in her presentation. Theresa’s slides are also online and worth to be viewed again, because I guess I havent offered enought time for her topic. Sorry!
The last presentation was about Microlearning (see also below). I must say that I like it very much, because it is almost self explaining, isn’t it?
As you can see there are very diverse approaches to produce eLearning Content.
Write about your creating process of your groups eLearning unit. How have you done it. Please let us know what worked good, what challanges did you face and what worked just bad.
So your post could be a small tutorial for people who’d like to do something like you’ve done.
In addition to the Task I asked you today to check if you’ve done all the Tasks and if all of your Texts are referenced like usual in scientific writing. Otherwise no one can really work with your content or could state that it is plagiarism. So please check your Presentations, Films, Blogentrys, Wikicontributions, …
Another thing I said in the class today is that till now only three of you contributed to the learning theories section in our wiki. You dont have to find new learning theories but the ones are named should be explained a little bit more!
And now the video about Microlearning:
And a short note: The Magazine “Zeitschrift für e-learning” a german language Paper will deal with „E-Learning in der Schule” in Issue 3/2009. Might be interesting since most of you are going to be a teacher.
Looking forward to see all of you healthy again next week in the class!
Looking forward to see you again in the seminar in 2009.

As all of you knew we did not meet in the seminar today to hear any presentations. Instead, the task for you until the end of the year is to search for information you can find about the most accepted learning theories and post them to the wiki. You will find the link to the wiki on this page at the top left. Please read the information about and rules for the wiki on the main page and have a look at the denomination page.
Then fill the wiki with the information you found. Try to write articles in your own words and do NOT forget to link to the sources where you quote from! If you use only quotes, it is essential to name the source you quoted from! If you have any questions, don´t hesitate to contact Ralf and Anja (afroehnel (ät) gmail (punkt) com).
The mosst accepted and common learning theories are for example: classical conditioning, behaviourism, cognitivism, constructivism. If you would like to write about and find other learning theories, please make sure that they are more or less broadly accepted or at least well known. Here is the link for the wiki page: learning theories.
Everyone should at least post one article in english.
Next session we will hear the rest of the presentation of the “computer” group about mobile learning and blended learning. Could the “ships” group please be ready to present next tuesday, as well as the group “animals“. We will see, how much time is needed!
Good work for all of you and see you again on the 16th of December!
The next seminar meeting ist titled “Problems, Progress & Experience” and should be related to your projectwork within the groups. No group has to present the results of the groupwork tomorrow. Make sure to join the seminar tomorrow to make further agreements (dates for the presentation, …)
