That program is easy to use but help could be available if needed. For more Information about iMovie look here: http://www.apple.com/de/ilife/imovie/ http://www.jumpcut.com/ could be an alternative too. That is an onlineservice for editing videos. There were some informations about the topics there, and there were many advertisments of the CBT-Products and Tutor-services. With thus achieved knowledge we have started our discussion during a meeting of our group. Our aim was at first to create a concept of our presentation. We´re going to start it by explaining the definitions of the researched terms. Then we would turn to introduce the products or services included in the field of our topics. Further on it would be important to show the different aims to be achieved in using the introduced products/services. In connection to this it will be necessary to create several categories of users interested in the CBT or Tutoring items. Next aspect to be dwelled upon is the avaluation of the products as far as their educating quality is concerned. We could start with comparing the electronically supported learn resources to the traditional teaching materials. We would point to the advantages and drawbacks of the new education solutions. It will be important to notice, that positive and negative sides of the new solutions have differentiated sources. First, the products are bound by their technological possibilities and limitations. Second, the didactical methods used for the application of CBT/Tutoring-education aids can be traditionally judged in terms of their practical efficiency. We would conclude by trying to identify the CBT/Tutoring resources as far as the form of learning is concerned. To a certain degree they can be used in all three modes of learning: formal, non-formal and informal. For the structure of our presentation we were considering treating CBT and Tutoring as separate fields of research, or combining it to one thematic unit. We will probably not be able to avoid splitting the work into two equally considered parts. But we have found common aspects of both topics: they deal with teaching/learning devices that support its user in his educational process. They differ in the social context of their usage: whereas CBT points to the supporting material on its own, tutoring refers to the personal guidence of the user of the service. We are not decided yet, what form our presentation is going to take. That depends on the software to create an animated unit, which we are still lacking. We will be greatful to whoever comments upon how to obtain any valuable free software which makes producing a kind of "You Tube"-film possible. Any hints of managing such programmes are also wellcome. See you soon in the class!
