This is your last Task for our Seminar ;-( .Imagine you would spend a day with the Learningtheories. Use your Blog to describe a day in your Life with the Learningtheories. How do they effect your life? When do you learn what and how?
Think about your Learning in different Seminars, your Sportsclub, while going by Train or Bus, watching Television and other activities.
Let us know which learning theory accompanys your daily life.
This task is voluntary! You don’t have to do this during the semester! It is just an idea what you can write about!

]]>OK, Task #8 is going to be a kind of Experiment. This Task should be solved collaborative.I rreated a Section for Learning Theories in our Wiki. It includes Behaviourism, Cognitivism, Constructivism and Connectivism. Even thoug I am not that sure if Connectivism is/will be a Learning Theorie we should have a look on it.
All four Theories are seperated into four Parts:
- What is …?
- What is the special meaning for eLearning?
- Which eLearning Tools make use of … and in what point exactly?
- References
What should be added to these Titles?
- Explanaitions, Definitions, …
- Is there a special relationship for eLearning? Which one could it be?
- Describe parts of Learningsystems and/or Tools and where they make use of this learning theorie, does’nt matter if intendet or not.
- Please List your sources for the above Information and make sure there is easy to connect them to the right point of the above Information.
You are free to chose which Theory/Headline you want to work on until no one else started work on this one. You should finde “your own” headline where you contribute the basic information. Of course you are allowed to add additional Information to all Theories and Headlines.
Aim
In the end all Theories should be complete, so you can use it in your final Exams or in other Seminars.

Online Session
Today we had a kind of Online Session within our seminar. We started with a Skype Conference and I think that worked pretty well.
My usual plan was to have the Online Session in Adobe Connect / Breeze. In Adobe Connect one have the possibility to use Textchat, Videoconferencing, Screensharing and a lot of other features. I expected Problems alreade before the Session and thats why we based our online Meeting on Skype. I hope it was an interesting experience for all of you!?
During the Online Session you were asked to watch this Video from Jay Cross about informal Learning. If you liked the video you might be interested in this one too.
Special Thank to Jonas who prepared the small zotero Workshop which didn’t work that good because of technical reasons. Jonas was so nice to put his Information into a Presentation which will be embedded below.

The next two Seminar Sessions will be only Project Work within your Groups. Write weekly Reports about your Groupwork from your personal perspective. Each Group gets a different Task.
All groups are asked to produce a learning unit suiteable for eLearning on the goups topic.
Each learning unit should explain the terms assigned to the Group and explain which form of Learning fits to that kind of learning.

Further approach
The third week 06.05.2008 we will meet in the seminar room again and talk about your experiences, problems and the progress of your projectwork.
After the Whitsuntide-Holidays (is that the Word for Pfingstferien?) we will meet again to have about 15-20 min. presentations of the Groupwork. Group 1 & 2 on 20th of May and Group 3 & 4 on the 27th of May as you can see in the Schedule.
Our Seminar Room will be open for your Projectwork if needed. Please let me know if you’d like to use it. You will find me somewhere on the fifth floor e.g. in my Office during seminar time.

Part 1: Please check the Web or Library for more definitions and find one which fits for your needs or is close to what you think eLearning is or should be.
Quote that Definition in your next Blogpost and write why you like that definition and what is missing in that definition.
Part 2: What are your expectations from eLearning, when is it useful, what are advantages and what is missing in eLearning compared to presence learning.
Part 3: Please name 2 Settings, Situations or Contents where eLearning is a good solution, in your opinion and why.

By doing that your thougts on the Seminar could be integrated into this website like Simons & Haukes Blog is already integrated. Edublogs.org offers a easy to use way for creating a Blog for free. Another way to get credits is to produce little multimedia snippets e.g. a video like the following. Depends how complex it will be a written reflection will be neccessary.
There will also a “Task of the Week” from time to time which should be done by all Participants.
